This site collects nothing about you. No cookies, no analytics, no tracking, no accounts, no forms.

What is not collected

No JavaScript runs in your browser on any page of this site - nothing executes beyond displaying the page. There are no cookies. There is no analytics service, no advertising network, no social media embed, and no third-party font, image or executable script of any kind. Nothing on these pages is loaded from anywhere other than this site.

Structured data

Pages on this site carry a block of structured data (JSON-LD, a W3C/schema.org standard) describing the author, the press, or the book on that page - the same kind of information already visible in the page's own text, in a format search engines can read directly. It does not execute, does not set a cookie, does not track you, and does not send anything anywhere; it is read only by whatever already requested the page.

No page has a form. There is no account to create, no newsletter to join, and no way to submit information through this site even if you wanted to.

Server records

Access logging is switched off at the content delivery network that serves these pages. No record is kept of which pages are requested, or by whom.

If you write to us

The contact page offers a mailing address and an email address, and nothing else - no form, no newsletter signup. If you write to Hilton, he has your letter, or your email address and whatever you chose to put in the message, for as long as it is kept. That is ordinary correspondence rather than data collection, and it is used only to reply to you.

Buying a book

Nothing is sold on this site, and none is planned. Books are sold from Silver Mountain Press, linked from every page here.

Changes

This page carries the build date in the footer of every page. If it changes, that date changes with it.
